I am a tutor with many years of experience working with students. I tutor a variety of subjects including algebra, geometry, elementary math, pre-calculus, biology, chemistry, Spanish, trigonometry, and more. I also do test prep for standardized tests like the ACT and MCAT. I'm currently pursuing degrees in Biology and Spanish at Saint Louis University. Once I complete my undergraduate program I am hoping to attend medical school. I have eight years of experience tutoring. I began working with students my freshman year of high school, when I tutored children in elementary school. I continued tutoring once I got to college, and I am now working as a group tutor for the General Chemistry department at SLU. I love to tutor because I get to watch students gain confidence in themselves as they succeed. I am a very engaging tutor, and I frequently ask my students questions to asses how well they are learning the material. I begin with easier example problems and patiently work my way up to more difficult concepts. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy playing basketball, and I love to watch and read about the NBA. I also practice Jiu Jitsu, play the piano, and have just recently started taking salsa dancing lessons.
